Lace is used in wigs, toupees and closures to create the look of hair growing directly from the scalp. Wigs and toupees can be fitted with lace at the front to give the natural appearance. A full lace wig is pricier, as it is lace all over.
A lace closure is used to finish the top of a full head of weave. It allows for complete coverage without leaving out any natural hair. A normal lace closure is 4” x 4” and it is placed at the top of a sew in weave install. A frontal closure that closes the front of a weave install from ear to ear. These pieces are normally 13” x 4”.
Lace hair pieces are hand tied with the individual hairs, and then the knots are bleached to give your scalp the most natural look.
